Attorney Profile

After growing up in Liberty County TX, Mr. Touchstone received his Bachelor’s Degrees in both Spanish and Business from The University of Houston in 1996.  After entering the workforce for several years, he decided to pursue a law degree and received his Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2005. Mr. Touchstone is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and before the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.  He is a member of the National College of DUI Defense, The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and The Harris County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Touchstone has represented several profile clients in the area.  His trial work and strategy has secured numerous not guilty verdicts for his clients in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Touchstone has lectured on the immigration consequences of criminal activity.  He understands the complexity of immigration consequences of criminal activity and how they affect the non-citizen.  Mr. Touchstone has also appeared on and co-hosted Reasonable Doubt, a weekly television show that discusses topics of the current legal landscape, and issues surrounding the criminal justice system. “The way I see it is that every case I handle deserves to be handled as though it were my own.  My background allows me to put myself in the shoes of my client and vigorously defend them.”
